Cops are still looking for a suspect who broke a man’s skull on a South Richmond Hill street last month.
According to police, at 3 a.m. on May 27, a 50-year-old man was walking home when he was approached by an unknown man in front of 127-10 Liberty Ave. The perpetrator struck the man in the head with a closed fist, causing the victim to hit his head on the pavement.
Following the attack, authorities said, the assailant fled the scene on foot westbound along Liberty Avenue.
Officers from the 106th Precinct and EMS units responded to the incident. Paramedics brought the victim to Jamaica Hospital, where he was diagnosed with and treated for a fractured skull.
Cops described the suspect as a black man with an athletic build and a goatee, standing 6 feet tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a navy blue T-shirt and ripped blue jeans.
