Suspect grabs cash and a snack after breaking into an Ozone Park church rectory: cops

Cops are looking for a man who helped himself to a snack after breaking into the priests’ residence at a South Ozone Park church and stealing money on Thursday morning.

According to police, at 4:18 a.m. on July 19, an unknown man entered the rectory of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, located at 111-50 115th St., through an unsecured side window. Once inside, the suspect took $75 in checks, $40 in cash, a bottle of juice and a bag of chips.

The suspect is described as a man with a dark complexion who was last seen wearing a baseball cap and dark colored clothing.
