Cops are looking for four teens who assaulted a man with a bat and robbed him on an Ozone Park street early Tuesday morning.

According to police, at 12:13 a.m. on Aug. 7, a 53-year-old man was in the vicinity of 103rd Street and Liberty Avenue when he was approached by four unknown teens. The perpetrators proceeded to attack the victim with bats and robbed him.

The suspects then took off with the victim’s backpack, iPhone 7, Pebble Smart Watch, and his wallet, which contained credit cards and $100 in cash, authorities said.

The incident was later reported to the 106th Precinct, where officers believe the incident stems from disputes between for-hire taxi cabs and Uber drivers. At this time, there is no description of the attackers.

On Aug. 5, a 26-year-old man was attacked by four unknown individuals with wooden sticks and a sword in front of a home on 123rd Street in Richmond Hill. Police do not believe, presently, that there is a connection between the two attacks.

Anyone with information regarding the Aug. 7 assault and robbery can call the 106th Precinct Detective Squad at 718-845-2260.
