JetBlue celebrated it’s 10th annual Swing for Good Golf Classic tournament. Many of the top executives of JetBlue, Robin Hayes, Joanna Geraghty and Steve Priest were swinging for good with hundreds of others to help the airline raise money for its foundation as it has done for a decade. Said Robin Hayes, “ Youth, education and community are core pillars of our corporate responsibility platform. Our dedication to the communities we serve goes beyond one day on the golf course. The funds raised will encourage service as well as STEM and aviation education for years to come.”

The event brought together JetBlue crew members and approximately 200 business partners totalling over 450 participants, providing a great mix of fun, camaraderie and competition at one of the country’s most renowned golf venues at Bethpage Sate Park, even the off limits Black course was opened for some golfing which was a treat for many players while raising funds for outstanding charities.

Since its inception in 2008, JetBlue’s Swing for Good initiative has raised more than $6.1 million for a variety of youth and education focused charitable organizations. “At JetBlue, we believe inspiring the future generation of aviators starts with us. The funds provided to the JetBlue Foundation will truly be the difference in the lives of young men and women who want to make an impact on our industry.” commented Joanna Geraghty, President JetBlue.
