Police are looking for a suspect who smashed a bottle on a man’s head at an Elmhurst bar and cut him last month.
According to police, at 3:40 a.m. on Nov. 17, a 41-year-old man was inside Sabor Latino Restaurant & Bar, located at 95-35 40th Road, waiting for his girlfriend. He was approached by an unknown man, who police say asked the victim a question. At this time, it is unknown what the suspect asked the victim.
The suspect proceeded to hit the victim in the head with a bottle and fled the scene. The victim was taken to Elmhurst Hospital Center, where he was treated for a laceration to the forehead.
