Detectives were looking for the burglar who stole nearly $10,000 worth of purses from a Long Island City store last week.
The NYPD released images of the bandit they believe is behind the Dec. 26 caper, which occurred at 8:15 p.m. at the store located at 47-09 30th St.
Police said the suspect busted through a sheet rock wall to get inside the store. He then removed designer handbags valued at $9,450 and fled the scene on foot in an unknown direction, according to authorities.
The incident was later reported to the 108th Precinct.
Police described the suspect as a man wearing a black jacket, a red shirt, black pants and black shoes.
