The Flushing Transit Hub Business Improvement District (Flushing BID) and City Councilman Peter Koo launched the 2019 Coupon Book on Monday, encouraging consumers to come, shop and dine in downtown Flushing.

The 2019 Coupon Book Program is funded by SBS’ Neighborhood 360° Grant program. A total of 10,000 Coupon Books will be distributed to entice consumers across the Metropolitan area to experience the convenience of Flushing as a one-stop service center.

The Flushing BID has enrolled over 60 businesses — including restaurants, beauty services, retails, professional services and etc. — offering exclusive discounts through this year’s Coupon Book. The promotion period will run from Jan. 7 to June 30.

The Flushing BID believes the program will generate a positive impact on businesses throughout the shopping season, and also benefit consumers with great shopping deals and experience.

Customers will receive exclusive discounts through the 2019 Coupon Book from Jan. 7 to June 30.

Throughout the past two years, over 100 businesses participated and around 20,000 coupon books were distributed. Every year, consumers have shown strong interest in the Coupon Book program and values offered by the businesses, according to the Flushing BID.

The 2019 Coupon Book will be distributed locally and to nearby districts through partnerships with local businesses, civic organizations and community partners, such as Queens Botanical Garden, Flushing Town Hall, hotels, travel agencies and so on.

For consumers’ convenience, the Coupon Book will also be available for pick up at the

Flushing BID information kiosk in front of the Flushing Library located at 41-17 Main St. and may be requested by submitting the Coupon Book mailing request on Flushing BID’s website at www.flushingbid.com.

The Coupon Book program was spearheaded by the Flushing BID aiming to promote the diverse businesses in Downtown Flushing.
