Police from the 104th Precinct in Ridgewood are on the lookout for a man who allegedly broke into a Maspeth residence last week and made off with cash and other property.
The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 6, when the suspect entered the home of a 36-year-old woman on Dry Harbor Road near 60th Avenue in Maspeth. The thief came through a side window and once inside, he removed jewelry, credit cards and approximately $4,500 in cash, police said.
The man took off in an unknown direction and there were no injuries reported.
The NYPD released surveillance video of the suspect as he checked out the location and described him as having a light complexion and in his 40s. He was last seen wearing a dark vest and a black face mask.
