Celebrate the beginning of December with these fun-filled events and welcome the holiday season.

Friday, Dec. 2 

KW Landmark Holiday Fair (Keller Williams Realty Landmark)

At the KW Holiday Craft Fair, there will be multiple stations of local businesses you can buy from! 32-55 Francis Lewis Blvd., Flushing; 3 to 7 p.m.

ART PARTY: A Fundraiser for Astoria Food Pantry (Astoria Food Pantry)

Come one, come all! Visit this art party, where all proceeds will be donated to Astoria Food Pantry. It’s a sip and paint and sculpt and draw and think (you can sip hard or soft drinks — they’re available via suggested donation). Free snacks will be provided, as will art supplies, inspiration and room for questions. 25-82 Steinway St., Astoria; 8 to 11 p.m. 

Saturday, Dec 3

St. Nicholas Day (Vander Ende-Onderdonk House)

Come on down to the historic Vander Ende-Onderdonk House for its annual St. Nicholas Day celebration! The museum will be decorated seasonally indoors for photos with St. Nicholas. Goody bags with a take-home craft will be provided for children. Additionally, there will be refreshments available for purchase. General admission is $5 and free for children under 12. All attendees, both children and adults, must have a ticket. Tickets are timed, and guests are asked to show up promptly at their time slot. 1820 Flushing Ave.; Noon to 4 p.m. 

Black Tie Holiday Paw-ty 

Spend the evening enjoying small bites for you and your dog! Cocktail attire is encouraged for both two-legged and four-legged friends. The best-dressed couple (dog and owner) will win an exclusive prize. Plus, there will be giveaways and games! 47-46 Vernon Blvd.; 5 to 7 p.m.

Taiwan Pastry Festival (SkyFoods Supermarket)

Celebrate NYC’s multicultural diversity! Sample and taste Taiwan’s most popular delicacies and introduce Taiwanese pastries such as egg yolk pastries, Suncake, pineapple cakes, crepe cakes, Taiwan cookies, traditional sweets and more! 40-24 College Point Blvd.; 1 to 4 p.m. 

Parade on Rockaway (Hope NYC) 

You’re invited to the official Parade on Rockaway! Experience three full days of amazing events, including one-of-a-kind food vendors, an artisan holiday winter village, Christmas displays, a spectacular light parade, the largest Christmas tree lighting in Queens, Santa, toy giveaways, live musical and dance performances, and much more.
