Police are searching for two unidentified suspects who broke into a pharmacy in Middle Village last month.

Police from the 104th Precinct responded to a 911 call of a burglary at Colombo’s Pharmacy, located at 75-51 Metropolitan Ave., at approximately 3:50 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 31.

Police say two unidentified perpetrators forced their way inside the pharmacy by breaking the lock to the front gate. Once inside, the crooks took prescription medication, including Promethazine and Oxycodone, and fled on mopeds going westbound on Metropolitan Ave.

One of the suspects captured in photos shared by the NYPD matches the description of another wanted in connection with a burglary that occurred the same week. A unidentified perpetrator matching the description of the one seen in the burglary also broke into the Myrtle Meds, Inc. pharmacy, located at 76-17 Myrtle Ave., in Glendale.

The perpetrator wore a black Nike zip-up jacket, which was also seen on the same crook who robbed the pharmacy on Metropolitan Ave.

These two burglaries aren’t the first this year for the 104th Precinct. In July, The Pain Relief Rx Pharmacy, located at 63-03 Dry Harbor Road, in Middle Village, and The Grand Avenue Pharmacy, located at 69-29 Grand Ave., in Maspeth were both burglarized by thieves matching similar descriptions.

Anyone with information in regard to these incidents is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 888-57-PISTA (74782).
