The Shops at Skyview in Flushing will be getting into the Halloween spirit with a series of events themed around the holiday from Oct. 28 to Oct. 31, including a “Treat Trail” and “Halloween Spooktacular.”
The Treat Trail will be held throughout all three days. For this event, people are encouraged to dress up in a costume as they go through the shopping center, where they will receive Halloween deals, candy, spooky surprises and indulge in monster menu items at participating retailers and restaurants. The venues within the Shops at Skyview that will be taking part in this include Best Buy, Burlington, Chuck E. Cheese, Coco Tea, Derucci, Everyday Beauty, Gong Cha, GNC, Grandma Dimsum, Old Navy, Royal Beauty, Starbucks and Uniqlo.
The Halloween Spooktacular will take place on Halloween from 4 to 7 p.m. and will feature a DJ, photo booth, treats and scary specials. Attendees can also register to take part in a costume contest set to happen on the main stage at 6 p.m. Participants in the costume contest will have the opportunity to win a $200 gift card to a retailer at the Shops at Skyview.
Located at 40-24 College Point Blvd. in Flushing, the Shops at Skyview is a multi-level shopping destination that features a growing mix of national retailers and local favorites. National retailers there include leading brands like Target, Sephora, Uniqlo, Nike Clearance and Marshalls. Some of the locals found there are Skyfoods and Everyday Beauty, among others.
