Bring your family and friends to an exciting, free festival this Saturday, May 18, for a day filled with engaging events and entertainment. The annual Douglaston Music and Arts Festival is back this Saturday from 12 to 4 p.m.
Attendees can awaken their inner artists by creating spin art, participating in complimentary arts and crafts, and cheering on an elementary school art competition, complete with grand prizes. Families can also enjoy a musical performance by “Chicken Head Rocks,” a five-member band that plays free-range rock, blues and soul hits.
Saturday’s festival is presented by the Douglaston Local Development Corporation with support from Council Member Vickie Paladino and NYC DOT.
