Florida-based medical and recreational cannabis provider The Flowery has opened its second New York dispensary in Forest Hills as part of its broader expansion across the state, with plans to open a new location in Brooklyn next.

The new location, at 63-54 108th St., follows the launch of its Staten Island branch, which opened earlier this year.

This marks the second legal cannabis dispensary to open in Forest Hills. In July, international cannabis operator Curaleaf launched at 107-18 70th Rd.,

Medical cannabis dispensaries are licensed facilities where patients with prescriptions can access cannabis products for therapeutic use. Offering items like flower, edibles, tinctures and topicals, these dispensaries are staffed by professionals trained to help patients select appropriate products and dosages for their health needs, ensuring safe and regulated access.

Louis Ruocco, a representative of The Flowery, emphasized the significance of this development for the company. “Opening our second location in New York, in the heart of Queens, is an exciting milestone for The Flowery and supports the cultural development of the plant in New York,” Ruocco said.

The Flowery’s Forest Hills dispensary will also offer a Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) delivery program, expanding access to medical cannabis products throughout Queens. This service aligns with the company’s mission to enhance patient convenience and access.

In addition to retail expansion, the company says it is committed to supporting social equity candidates within the cannabis market. It aims to empower entrepreneurs and enhance the availability of quality cannabis products across New York.
