Bayside and Whitestone residents will have the opportunity to celebrate Hanukkah with the community this week.
Chabad of Northeast Queens, in conjunction with Friends of Francis Lewis Park and We Love Whitestone, will host a “Light Up Whitestone” event on Thursday, Dec. 26th, at 7 p.m. in Francis Lewis Park on 147th Street and 3rd Avenue. The event will feature live music, donuts, and Chanukah gelt.
The Whitestone event is sponsored by Brian Marks and family.
A separate Hanukkah celebration presented by Chabad of Northeast Queens is planned for Bayside on Sunday, Dec. 29th, at 6 p.m. at the Bay Terrace Shopping Center– Upper Level. The event will include a menorah lighting, live music, a fire performer, refreshments and more.
