Head to Bayside for an evening of fun and freebies for a good cause this Saturday.

Co-owners and mother and daughter duo Kathy and Elena Duque will host a “Winter White” party at their business, BodyBrite Bayside, on Dec. 9. In partnership with nonprofit New York Cares, the owners of the boutique medical spa at 34-38 Bell Blvd. are asking locals to stop by with a new or gently used coat to donate to those in need.

Between 4 and 8 p.m., attendees will be able to enjoy complimentary mini facials, makeovers and hair stylings by Riva Hair Salon. The first 25 guests will also receive a “swag bag” filled with freebies.

Celebrity DJChef, a champion on Food Network’s Cutthroat Kitchen, will be spinning at the event while attendees enjoy catered bites and cocktails. Demos and promos will be offered on all services. White attire is encouraged.

“The winter months are terribly cold, and it can be a struggle for low-income families as well as the homeless to purchase a coat,” Elena Duque said. “We are a part of many online groups in the community and we knew it would be a great way to get everyone together while helping those less fortunate.”

BodyBrite Bayside has offered skincare services, laser hair removal, skin tightening, teeth whitening and other services to the community since its opening two years ago. Learn more on their Facebook page or by calling 718-766-8020.
