Lorin Dixon, Christ the King's dynamic senior point guard, has reportedly decided to join her former teammate, Tina Charles, the consensus National Player of the Year, at the University of Connecticut next fall.
The 5-foot-4 Dixon, who earned MVP honors in the State Federation tournament, led the Royals to their second straight undefeated season and New York State championship, with 34 points in the tournament finale over Murry Bergtraum. She finished her junior year with season totals of 12 points- and 7.1 assists-a-game. The speedy floor general had narrowed her choices down to LSU and St. John's before choosing UConn.
