Queens residents can voice their opinions about the good, the bad and the ugly within their neighborhood by participating in the fifth annual Neighborhood Quality of Life survey.
The Citizens Committee for New York City is urging all residents to participate in the survey, which polls residents and community leaders about neighborhood issues and distributes the results to civic groups in order to address the issues.
“By participating in this survey, the average, everyday New Yorker can help identify neighborhood concerns so that our community leaders, neighborhood activists and government officials are better able to develop viable solutions,” said Peter Kostmayer, president of Citizens Committee for New York City. “This simple act of civic involvement can make a huge difference in our collective quality of life.”
To participate in this year’s survey, go to www.etownpanel.com/citizens.htm or call Citizens Committee for New York City at 212-989-0909 and request a paper copy of the survey. The survey will be conducted until October 1, 2007.
