New artists’ space opens

A crowd of over 100 gathered to celebrate the opening of the new artists’ studio space and gallery at 90-26 161st Street, sponsored by chashama in association with the Greater Jamaica Development Corporation (GJDC) and the Queens Museum of Art. The not-for-profit chashama takes donated spaces at temporarily vacant properties and converts them into spaces for artists.
