Premier Care opens Maspeth clinic

Premier Care opened its newest clinic in Maspeth on June 3.
Founder Dr. David Kim said the closing of St. John’s Queens Hospital in 2009 was the main reason for opening a clinic in the area.
“There has been a growing need for quality health care in Maspeth,” Kim said. “We wanted to fill that void and offer our services to the community.”
The clinic aims to be an outlet for patients in need of immediate medical care.
“We strive to offer efficient medicine for our patients,” Kim said. “A walk-in urgent care center means no appointments, limited wait time and the ability for our patients to be treated quickly.”
In addition to the clinic’s quick response, patients can also enjoy free and unlimited parking.
Prescriptions are “e-scripted” directly to the patients’ pharmacy for further convenience.
The clinic has an Emergency Medicine Physician on hand who is trained to treat and care for a wide array of medical conditions for patients of all ages.
“Our hope is that Premier Care be used as an addition to your physicians. If your regular physician cannot see you that day we are here to take care of your immediate medical needs,” Kim said.
In addition to the Maspeth location, at 74-25 Grand Avenue in Maspeth, Premier Care has three clinics open in Lynbrook, Levittown and Lindenhurst with a clinic in Bellmore to open soon.
