110th Precinct’s Annual Awards Dinner

The 110th Precinct Community Council held its annual awards dinner and fundraiser last Tuesday, May 15, at the Grandstand in Elmhurst. Pictured from left to right in the photo are 110th Precinct Lt. Peter Calderon, honored as Supervisor of the Year; Capt. Mark Wachter, the precinct’s executive officer; Precinct Council President Evelyn DeCoursey; P.O. Kevin Russell and P.O. Elvis Santana, who shared Police Officer of the Year with P.O. Hector Jordan (not pictured); and Deputy Inspector Ronald D. Leyson, the precinct’s commander. Also receiving awards but not pictured were Civilian Of The Year Denise Cato; Jeffrey Owen, who accepted the Business Of The Year award on behalf of Queens Center; City Council Member Daniel Dromm, who was named Person Of The Year; and former 110th Precinct commander Capt. Richard Napolitano.
