Three people were injured after a pair of cars smashed into each other at the corner of Northern Boulevard and 42nd Street in Long Island City early on Sunday morning, July 29, FDNY sources said. Members of Engine Co. 325, Ladder Co. 116, Battalion 49, the 114th Precinct and EMS units responded to the crash, which occurred at around 3:30 a.m. The injured victims were brought by paramedics to a local hospital for treatment; all are expected to make a recovery.
