Faces St. Peter’s In Playoff Today

On Monday, Oct. 22, the Christ the King Regional High School Royals soccer team played their last regular-season game against Xaverian High School in Brooklyn.

The Royals won the game 3-0 thanks to goals scored by JC Obregon and Jordan Green (2).

With this game, the Royals completed a very successful campaign with 11 wins and four losses, scoring 38 goals while conceiving 18. The leading scorer on the team is Jordan Green with seven goals and Calogero Curcuru leads the team with six assist.

On Thursday, Oct. 25 (today), for the first round of playoffs, the Royals will face St. Peters High School at Juniper Valley Park at 3:30 p.m. The winner of this game will face the New York Archdiocese runner up-Regis High School or Fordham Prep-in the next round.
