FREDERICK C. KONZE of
Brooklyn died on Sunday, April 28,
at the age of 73. He was the husband
of the late Jacqueline, devoted father
of Patricia, Albert and Eileen and
dear brother of John, Loretta, Irene,
Carol and Kay. He is also survived by
eight grandchildren and four greatgrandchildren. Services were offered
graveside at Linden Hill Cemetery,
Ridgewood, under the direction of
Hess-Miller Funeral Home, 64-19
Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village.

MARY HOLOWIECKA died on
Saturday, May 4, in the Bronx at the
age of 97. She was the sister of the
late John Holowiecki and loving aunt
of Carol Maines and John
Holowiecki Jr. A Mass of Christian
Burial will be offered tomorrow, Friday, May 10, at 10:30 a.m. at St.
Adalbert Church, Elmhurst, followed
by interment at St. John Cemetery,

CARLA YURMAN died on Friday,
May 3, at the age of 79. She was the
beloved wife of Erminio Yurman,
loving mother of David Yurman and
Steven Yurman, cherished grandmother of David Jr. and Isabella and
dear sister of Maria, Edda, Lily,
Emma, Slava, Branka and Walter.
She is also survived by numerous
loving nieces, nephews, cousins and
friends. A Mass of Christian Burial
was offered on Tuesday, May 7, at St.
Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed
by interment at St. Michael’s Cemetery, East Elmhurst, under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home,

JOHN NOEL MCAREE died on
Monday, April 29, at the age of 52. A
native of County Monaghan, Ireland,
he was the beloved husband of Joan
(nee Dorgan), loving father of Catriona and Ciaran and dear brother of
Lawrence, Mary, Bridget, Michael,
Martin, Una McMeel, Gabriel, Enda
and Raymond. He was a cherished
son-in-law, brother-in-law, nephew,
uncle, cousin and friend to many here
and in Ireland. A Mass of Christian
Burial was offered on Friday, May 3,
at Our Lady of Hope Church, Middle
Village, followed by interment at St.
John Cemetery, Middle Village,

FRANK L. SOUCIE of Ridgewood
died on Tuesday, April 30, at the age
of 60. A native of Brooklyn, he was
the husband of the late Helen, devoted father of Francis Soucie and
Tim Soucie and dear brother of Mary
Ellen Waithe, Barbara Strikie, Raymond Soucie, Jacqueline Soucie and
Richard Soucie. He is also survived
by many nieces and nephews. A wake
will be held this Friday, May 10,
from 2 to 5 p.m. and from 7 to 9 p.m.
at Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood
Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,
Ridgewood, followed by a private
cremation at Fresh Pond Crematory,
Middle Village.
