Drink, Prizes And More At 21+ Event In Brooklyn
Train enthusiasts and history buffs alike will get to match wits at the Transit Museum’s annual trivia showdown, to be held at the museum from 6:30-8:30 p.m., Jan. 29.
Those who know the transit system backwards and forwards can put that knowledge to good use by driving their team to victory at this, the museum’s second annual trivia night.
The evening will include six rounds of questions in a variety of formats, including videos, audio tracks, photos and puzzles, according to a press release from the museum.
The quiz will be conducted by trivia masters Stuart Post and Chris Kelley.
Topics will run the gamut from obscure transit facts to subterranean pop culture. Last year’s inaugural event sold out, with more than 200 contestants and 42 teams participating.
Bring a squad of 2-6 players or come on your own and link up with fellow straphangers. Prizes and New York City Transit bragging rights will be awarded to the winners, it was noted.
Beer will be provided by Brooklyn Brewery. Tickets are $15 ($10 for Museum members) and include one free drink. Attendees must be 21 years of age or older.
The Transit Museum is located at 30 Livingston St., 10th Floor, Brooklyn, NY 11201
