Glendale Educators Bring Their Children to Work with Them

Members of the John V. Daniels VFW Post 2813 in Woodside recently learned how to launch their own businesses through a seminar conducted by Man-Li Kuo Lin of the U.S. Small Business Administration and Queens County Council VFW Commander Bernard Robinson. As noted

P.S. 91 in Glendale celebrated Bring Your Child to Work Day as many faculty and staff brought their children to school on Thursday, Apr. 24. As a special treat for the visiting children, they visited an art class where they made a simple art project to remember their visit. They then had some fun at a gym class and a special pizza lunch, followed by treats from the schools “candy bar.” To end the day, the school glee club invited them on stage in the auditorium for a sing-along.
