Cops Honored for Burglary Collars

For arresting four burglars in two separate incidens earlier this month, Police Officers Rodney Rubert and John Sullivan were honored as Cops of the Month during the 102nd Precinct Community Council meeting last Tuesday night, June 17, at the Richmond Hill library. As pictured, Deputy Inspector Henry Sautner (center), the 102nd Precinct commander, and Latchman Budhai (at far left), precinct council president, presented Rubert (fourth from right) and Sullivan (third from right) with plaques donated by the Times Newsweekly for their efforts. Among those also pictured during the award presentation are Ranjit Singh, precinct council vice president; J. Richard Smith, precinct council secretary; and P.O. Jose Severino of the 102nd Precinct Community Affairs Unit.
