Ridgewood Meals on Wheels Staff Recognized for Duty

The Glendale/Maspeth United Methodist Church commemorated the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Glendale United Methodist Church at a ceremony on Sunday

The Meals on Wheels staff of the Peter Cardella Senior Citizen Center were commended by the NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) for their dedication and tireless effort delivering meals to the homebound elderly of Community Board 2 and 5 during the storms of 2014, on Tuesday, June 3, in Ridgewood. Jorge Romero, from DFTA presented the staff with certificates. Pictured above are the Meals on Wheels drivers along with the center’s Homebound Coordinator, Angela Rannazzisi and the Executive Director, Barbara Toscano.
