Chess wizards at P.S. 81 in Ridgewood were recently honored for winning the school’s annual chess tournament. It was the seventh year the school hosted a competition among pupils under the supervision of Arthur D. Seeger and Don Powers. This year, 110 students participated in the tournament, and the winners earned certificates as well as a chess book and a magnetic travel chess set.
