The man pictured at right is wanted by police for robbing a Long Island City bank last Tuesday afternoon, May 27. Reportedly, the heist occurred at 3:30 p.m. at the HSBC branch located at 22-15 43rd Ave. Law enforcement sources said the crook- described as a Hispanic male between 30 and 35 years of age, standing 6′-tall and weighing 230 lbs. with a mustache and a heavy build-walked into the location and passed a demand note to a teller. After receiving over $4,200 from the employee, authorities noted, the bandit fled in an unknown direction. Officers from the 108th Precinct responded to the scene; there were no injuries. Reportedly, the suspect was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, blue jeans, white sneakers, a blue button-down shirt and dark sunglasses.
