An apparent verbal dispute at a house party in Bayside ended early Sunday morning in a double shooting that left one victim fighting for his life, according to police.

Authorities said the shooting occurred at about 12:12 a.m. outside a home on 28th Avenue near 212th Street.

Reportedly, the two male victims — ages 23 and 27 — got into an argument with the male gunman. As the victims walked outside the home, police said, the gunman approached them and opened fire, striking both in the torso. The suspect then fled from the scene.

Officers from the 111th Precinct and EMS units responded to the location. Paramedics rushed the 27-year-old man to NewYork/Presbyterian-Queens in critical condition with life-threatening injuries, while the 23-year-old man was removed to North Shore Hospital in Manhasset in stable condition.

According to WABC-TV, the home was rented for the party. The location is listed as available in an Airbnb ad.

No arrests have been made, and an investigation is ongoing.
