Ditched your New Year’s resolution to get in shape already? Don’t give up, join Ridgewood’s CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel, as they celebrate one year of helping to form healthier, stronger and smarter members of the community.
This month marks one year since co-owners Anthony Musemici and Michele Gretano opened CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel at 1645 Decatur St. Since that time, they have brought their combined 25 years of experience in the fitness industry to help shape and inspire fitness buffs and those just starting a workout regimen alike as CrossFit Level 2 certified coaches.
CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel aims to bring health, fitness and education to Ridgewood with many different programs and classes, workout equipment, and knowledgeable staff.
According to the CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel website, the gym’s mission is to provide quality programming and education in a facility where athletes can strive for physical excellence and a healthy lifestyle by helping everyone reach their fitness goals, regardless of their skill level.
CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel’s 5,000-square-foot facility helps members get and stay in shape with the latest technology to help track and view progress, and top-of-the-line fitness equipment including bikes, barbells, free weights rowers, medicine balls, and kettlebells. The gym also has an on-site yoga instructor and an on-staff registered nutritionist to improve not only the body, but the mind as well.
The gym also features a library of education materials, a lounge area and showers.
If you are intimidated by hitting the gym or by CrossFit, Musemici and Gretano help create programs for each individual member’s personal goals. Their workouts are intentionally scalable to work with any experience level.
For those serious about lifting weights, CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel is also an official USAW Barbell Club.
The gym offers a free trial for prospective members to come in and give CrossFit Bridge & Tunnel a try. For more information about the free trial and all the services they offer, visit their website.
