From My Mother’s Mother — Celebrate Mother’s Day with a chamber opera about a Korean tradition where Korean women, post-birth, are given seaweed soup, which is prepared by their own mother and believed to assist in recovery. This story, composed by Jeeyoung Kim, deals with love and reconciliation through one mother providing something to help her daughter, only to face rejection. Perofrmance in Korean with English subtitles.

World’s Fair History Walking Tour: Mother’s Day Edition — Take your World’s Best Mom on the World’s Fair Walking Tour on Mother’s Day.
