The NYPD released security camera footage of two men who broke into three businesses on the 165th Street mall in Jamaica earlier this week and stole thousands of dollars in cash and merchandise.
All of the burglaries took place at around 4 a.m. on Oct. 1 inside 89-15 165th St. According to police, the two crooks first entered the First and Last Newsstand, using an unknown object to pry open an entryway. They removed $6,300 in cash, cigarettes and electronic devices.
Police said the bandits then headed over to Polas Inc. Organic and Gifts, forcing their way inside the shop and removing $1,750 in electronics and cash.
Finally, law enforcement sources said, the money-hungry burglars entered Bella Pizza and removed $500 in cash.
Each of the break-ins were reported to the 103rd Precinct.
Police described one of the suspects as a black man standing 6 foot 1 inch tall and weighing 250 pounds who was last seen wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers. His partner was described as a man standing 5 foot 6 inches tall, weighing 160 pounds and last observed wearing a black baseball cap, a black jacket, blue jeans and black sneakers.
