Cops are looking for a female commuter who got into a brawl with a woman on the 7 line in Jackson Heights during a recent morning rush hour.
Law enforcement sources said the beef between the two women began at 8:25 a.m. on Oct. 2 as the two rode a Manhattan-bound 7 train as it pulled into the 74th Street-Broadway station.
When the doors opened, police said, one of the women shoved her rival, a 30-year-old female, off the car and onto the platform. The suspect then followed her out and continued the dispute.
Authorities said the female suspect then punched the 30-year-old woman in the face. The two continued to brawl on the platform before passengers stepped in to separate them.
The puncher then fled the station in an unknown direction, officers said.
The incident was reported to the 115th Precinct and NYPD Transit Bureau District 20. The 30-year-old woman was not seriously injured.
On Oct. 10, the NYPD released video footage of the assailant, who’s described as a Hispanic woman between 25 and 30 years of age, standing 5 feet, 5 inches tall with shoulder-length black hair. She was last seen wearing a white hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black sneakers while also carrying a black backpack.
