The Port Authority and LaGuardia Kiwanis Club sponsored the annual Kids Day at LaGuardia Airport.

The Port Authority opened up a special area of the airfield at LaGuardia Airport to the public for Kids Day 2018. Not only for kids they say but fun for the hole family. A shuttle bus ran from the historic Terminal A area and brought fun seekers to the field where the fun began. There were American and Delta jets to climb aboard, SkyTypers vintage stunt planes, Civil Air Patrol, music of the Sunnsyside Band, NYPD horses and police dog petting, tower climbing, a CPR course, a USCG helicopter landing and taking off, Custom and Border Protection’s Agriculture beagle pup Denny, free hot-dogs and drinks, face painting and some free gifts from participating display booth people. It was a beautiful autumn day to have the chance to see airport people, operations and planes close-up and personal.
