Cops apprehended two alleged burglars shortly after they cut a hole through the roof of a Laurelton supermarket.
At 2:30 a.m. on Oct. 9, officers from the 105th Precinct arrived at the Merrick Farm Country Supermarket, located at 234-21 Merrick Blvd., to find two men attempting to steal property from the supermarket.
Authorities said the thieves were able to enter the supermarket after hours through a hole that they cut in the roof, according to police.
Officers quickly apprehended one of the burglars who was found inside of the supermarket holding a laptop computer. Police said that the second thief was found on the roof of the supermarket.
The dynamic duo caused damage in excess of $250 to the supermarket. Cops identified the alleged crooks as Troy Wilson, 40, and Terrell Owens, 43, both from Brooklyn.
They are being charged with burglary, criminal mischief, possession of burglary tools, criminal possession of stolen property and criminal trespassing.
Wilson faces an addition of charge of resisting arrest since he attempted to flee the scene on foot before being appended on the store’s rooftop.
