The New York Lottery on Monday morning, Aug. 8, announced that a Jamaica store sold a top prize-winning ticket for the Aug. 7 Take 5 Evening draw.

The ticket was worth $32,512 and was sold at ATN Check Cashing at 113-03 Sutphin Blvd. in Jamaica.

The news comes after the New York Lottery on Aug. 3 announced that a top-prize winning ticket for the Aug. 2 Take 5 Evening drawing was sold in Forest Hills.

That winning ticket, worth $12,574, was sold at Craft Beer & Smoke, a convenience store located at 110-84A Queens Blvd.

TAKE 5 players with midday and evening draws on the same ticket must check their numbers at nylottery.ny.gov to determine if they have the winning numbers for the corresponding midday or evening draw.

TAKE 5 numbers are drawn from one through 39. The drawing is televised twice daily at 2:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. A Lottery draw game prize can be claimed up to one year from the date of the drawing.
