Police are searching for the thief who broke into a tattoo studio in Flushing and ran off with more than $20,000 in loot last month.

Authorities say that the suspect used an unknown object to break into Bee Tattoo Studio, located at 136-70 Roosevelt Ave., within the confines of the 109th Precinct, just after 7 a.m. on Aug. 14. Once inside, the thief removed tattoo tools worth approximately $21,729 and fled the scene.

No injuries were reported, police said.

Authorities say the suspect has a dark complexion and is approximately 30 to 40 years old. He has a thin build and was last seen wearing a brown sweater, blue pants, white sneakers, a blue and white hat and a white face mask.

Police on Sept. 16 released a surveillance video that shows the suspect inside the tattoo studio.
