A brave R train rider whipped out her cellphone and captured an image of a man who was allegedly pleasuring himself in Queens Plaza last week, according to NYPD.
Police from the 108th Precinct in Long Island City and Transit District 20 are searching for the creep who sat down across from the 37-year-old woman as she was riding on the Manhattan-bound subway at around 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 9. The suspect exposed himself before he “manipulated his genitals,” police said. As soon as the woman got a shot of the act in progress, the deviant got up and moved to the opposite end of the subway car.
There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident.
The NYPD released the photo of the man on Sunday and offered up to $3,500 for information leading to his arrest. He was wearing a white face mask, a dark baseball cap and a dark winter jacket. He also wore camouflage pants and beige sneakers with white soles.
Anyone with information is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS.
