BEN MARCIANTE died on Thursday, September 13 at the age of 79.
He was the beloved husband of Joan
Marciante, loving father of Michele
Cinnamo, Michael Marciante and the
late Maryann Marciante, father-inlaw of Christopher and cherished
grandfather of Natalie and Nicholas.
He was a U.S. Army veteran who
served in the Korean Conflict. A
Mass of Christian Burial was offered
on Monday, September 17, at St.
Mary’s Church, Woodside, followed
by interment at Long Island National
Cemetery, Farmingdale, L.I., under
the direction of Papavero Funeral
Home, 72-27 Grand Ave., Maspeth.

MANUEL SANTOS of Brooklyn
died on Tuesday, September 11, at
the age of 88. A native of Alianza,
Valle, Honduras, he was the husband
of the late Berta and devoted father
of Jorge Santos, Jose Santos, Heliberto Santos, Manuel Santos, Irma
Santos and Davis Santos. He is survived by 22 grandchildren and 24
great-grandchildren. A Mass of
Christian Burial was offered at St.
Brigid Church, Brooklyn, followed
by interment at St. John Cemetery,
Middle Village, under the direction
of Morton Funeral Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663 Grandview Ave.,
Ridgewood.

ELISABETA COSARCA of Glendale died on Wednesday, September
12, at the age of 90. A native of Satu
Mare, Romania, she was the wife of
the late Michai and devoted mother
of Geta Sociu, Monica Lungu, Lucia
Lutas and Constantin Cosarca. She is
also survived by 14 grandchildren
and seven great-grandchildren. Services were offered at Morton Funeral
Home/Ridgewood Chapels, 663

by interment at Linden Hill Cemetery, Ridgewood.
