Cops, Vols Paint Over Graffiti In F. Hills

Community Board 5 Parks Committee Co-Chair Steve Fiedler shows a diagram of planned improvements at Glendale’s Evergreen Park during last Wednesday’s Community Board 5 meeting in Middle Village.

Local youths joined police and members of the 112th Precinct Community Council to paint over graffiti around Forest Hills and Rego Park last Saturday, May 31. The volunteers met up at the 112th Precinct’s Austin Street stationhouse in Forest Hills before scattering around the community for the graffiti cleanup. Among those pictured above are Lt. Brian Goldberg, 112th Precinct special operations coordinator, and P.O. John Maser.
