Woman used senior’s personal info to steal big bucks from bank in Flushing

Police are looking for a woman who allegedly withdrew $3,250 from a bank in Flushing using a Roosevelt Island woman’s account information.

The suspect entered a Chase bank, located at 39-01 Main St., on Nov. 11 at 4 p.m. and used a withdrawal slip to steal $3,250 from the 75-year-old victim’s account.

The victim reported the missing money to the 114th Precinct who, after obtaining surveillance footage from the bank, released a photo of the suspect in connection to the crime.

Anyone with information in regards to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 800-577-TIPS. The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or texting their tips to 274637 (CRIMES) then enter TIP577.
