The new site, located at 130-30 Farmers Blvd., will support the emergency medical needs of families in Springfield Gardens and nearby communities with convenient weekday and weekend hours, as well as self-check-in kiosks. The new location also has on-site state-of-the-art technology, which includes X-ray and EKG machinery.
“Many residents of Springfield Gardens are already CityMD patients, having previously visited our 162-21 Jamaica Ave. urgent care center,” said Vincent Campasano, MD, chief operating officer, NY region. “We are proud to be providing the Springfield Gardens community with our patient-centered care in a new convenient walk-in location that features topnotch medical personnel to help battle the pandemic and assist patients with a wide variety of health care needs.”
Patients of all ages visit CityMD for many reasons, including treatment for upper respiratory infections, colds and flu, asthma, allergies, minor lacerations, sore throats, insect bites and rashes, among other conditions. On-site doctors can diagnose and treat pink eye, croup, minor orthopedic injuries and nosebleeds. This expert team of doctors and clinical assistants helps patients coordinate their follow-up care, ranging from referrals to pre-approvals and other appointments.
